I'm going to try to pull together some analysis on the comments, but them's the raw numbers. The disparity between #2 and #9 seems to be the Canadian issue.

Best to have a traditional big An Tir. People should write more letters of recommendation and put in bids for events instead of saying how ignored they are... :-) Of course that could be the past King in me talking.

It may well be that they don't put in bids because they know that their branch can't hand an event that size- and venues big enough for a Crown event are not on every corner...
